When America falls…
Will America fall? How will it fall? When will it
fall? Why will it fall? We may or may not be looking for Jesus to return… but He will. He said “When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is…Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?” America will fall from its place in the world
because it has fallen from grace. Too many trust in military might or monetary strength or political prowess or believe God will keep the nation or any or all of the above but we are in the Kingdom of God and we are to trust solely in the King. This is where our faith needs to be… not in things of this earth. The day of destruction is upon us look around and
now what shall you do? You know of my love for my people Israel… you have seen there captivity under the heel of Rome… It was in their need that I came to them… How shall we endure? Crying out to God, does not take volume nor mere words of our mouth nor knowledge, nor a want of change. Crying out to God is a heart cry of faith it is a cry of our need of Him. Delivered is not just being removed from something but being brought into the perfect peace that is eternal. The twelve followed and left everything only to find themselves huddled together in the upper room in prayer. He was tortured, openly humiliated, taunted and suffered for all to see… hung on a cross to die. They who had every hope, who knew the love and comfort of His presence, who had witnessed the power of miracles and who were with Him day by day. Now they were without Him… He was gone from them… and they prayed… This was a heart cry of there very souls… What kind of prayer is this that they pray together? Is it mere words, is it correct annunciation, and
is it anything but a heart cry of need? When nothing can console them, when they have hoped that He rose yet could not find Him, it was then He appears to them in the upper room… He had died and was buried and He was resurrected and went to the Father now He is in their midst and the Gift of His presence in their unbelief, they gaze upon Him, every eye filled with marvelous wonder He delivers the most powerful yet simple gift… “My peace I give you!” The gifts at Pentecost were not just for them personally, they were given the Holy Spirit primarily for the salvation of others… the everlasting gift is “Eternal peace” that peace that was given in the upper room. This is what we need today in the face of all adversity… Peace! Peace that endures into the resurrection. You need to find this peace in prayer just as those in the upper room… it is gained in the need of our heart cry… When everything begins to crumble and fall around you… when this country begins to be prey to evil then what shall you do? Now is the time to pray… We pray for the eternal peace of the resurrection to fill us all in our trials… soon to come…
