The
Great need in our life…
Is the love of another…
And that love of another begins with Jesus.
Loved, we go on without fear to love others…
God did not send salvation into the world… without love.
He did not bring us a message… but a loving messenger.
He did not bring us a method… but a personal loving relationship.
He did not give us a perfect idea… but a perfect person, with
perfect love.
He did not give us an ideal… but a reality in a man… and He is
God!
He did not present us with yet another set of laws… save the
motive for all obedience… the law of love.
He was not vague… He spoke with authority.
He was not overpowering… He walked among us, as one of us, tending
our needs.
He did not come to be served… but to serve.
He did not appeal to the mind… but to our heart.
He did not come to be understood… but to be accepted.
He did not come to be liked… but to be believed in and
trusted.
He did not bring us to financial security… but to encourage us to
live by faith.
He did not fight political oppressors… He came to over come the
real enemy.
He did not come to reestablish their Kingdom… but to free us from the
governments of men… His Kingdom is not of this world!
He did not just share Himself… He gave Himself… completely.
He did not come to gain or receive… but to give us His peace… and
give and give… forever giving…
He did not faint in the face of trials… He subjected Himself to
the conditions He created.
He did not fight the devil… He turned His cheek and submitted to Him
and overcame Him… love never fails!
He did not teach… defend yourself or strike out at someone or hurt
someone or get even or be mean or harsh or hate… He accepted those
things and loved in spite of them… love never gives up!
He did not come for Himself… but for us, each one of us, all of
us…
He held back nothing.
He kept nothing.
He desired nothing for Himself.
In that He gives us everything in giving us Himself.
There are many things to be said; but He is the
summation of all He said in one word; He is the word… there is only one
word!
It brings us back to God is love!
The Word is love… unfathomable yet unmoving, forever
and for always God loves us!
He loves us where we are as we are…
Jesus is God!
Jesus is love!
He brings with Him the beginning and the end of all
things.
He was… He is… and He will be!
His resurrection demonstrates Love is eternal!
God became a man to demonstrate what love is,
defined by His acts toward us and His interaction with us… Follow me!
His Spirit is in us/His
love is in us/His
life is in us!
How does one share himself?
Jesus demonstrated His life in filling our need; our need of Him, to be
loved.
Our call is to continue in sharing His love…
You have been created to be loved by God.
You have been called… to love another, by serving
their need to be loved by Jesus… just as you are… where you are…
Evangelism is not informing others about Jesus; it is transforming them
by His love into His likeness. We have confused information with
relationship. We have substituted doing with knowing. We have exchanged
family life for a meeting place. We have alternated from daily to
weekly. We have replaced the life of Jesus with a kiss!
Our lives are to be a shout… join us, who follow… come be loved… into
the resurrection.
A joining, a unity, a relationship, a oneness… Him in us, us in Him!
Not alone… you or I but us, together will find Him in our midst.
The hope of the world is not in congregating for a few hours but in
living a transformed life day by day. We are not called to be alone or
do it alone but in our living together with Jesus in our midst. And Him
being in our midst when we are together in His name should make us quick
to conclude, why would we separate.
Life in Jesus is together… He is than in our midst.
Life in the Spirit is unity… love binds us…
The purpose of God in creating us is to be loved by Him and because of
it to love each other. Our failure to obey because of yielding to the
temptation of selfish want caused man to disobey. A selfish desire
seduced man away from the love of God and to please Him by instead
pleasing ourselves has caused man to now seek other then to love our
brethren and separated us from God. Selfishness is the cause of
separation from the will of God and it is to disobey Jesus by not
obeying His command to love.
That we may be one…
Our relationship to God is demonstrated in our
loving relationship to each other.
The world needs to see the living example of Jesus in our lives
together.
“…you are my disciples by the way you love
one another”
Can you hear Him today?
Can you still see?
Jesus is enough… more then enough!
The Spirit led Jesus; God in man and Jesus gave us His spirit within
us to continue the work He began of… reaching the lost those
separated from His love by healing the broken hearted; the lonely,
hopeless, downtrodden, browbeat, abused, heartsick, aimless, fearful,
demonized, afflicted, infirmed and everyone that thirsts…
What do we spend our time doing…?
Jesus in us is the love that heals every need
and overcomes every transgression and blesses every hope and makes the
broken whole and unifies, making us one and lifts us to remove
discouragement and encourages us in time of trouble to be a blessing and
causes us to be bold in the face of adversity and filled with peace He
joyfully brings us to destroy every bondage of darkness into the freedom
of His marvelous light... And brings us together in His glory!
He does it every time, He does it all the time…
He doesn't go away, He does not leave us; He is here in us and
joined together He will complete the work He began in us, to finish the
work He began...
We are His and He has given Himself for us and to us... Bought in His
blood we are covered...
Are you willing?
Are you ready?
The hour is upon us...
The count down has begun as is our accountability...
We are called to be His body together here, to love as He!
Find Him in your heart… He is everyman’s need!
Share Him… give His love freely as He gave it to us, serve others as He
serves us!
The Great need in our life is to fill the need
in other lives; this is Jesus!
The Great need in
our life is to fill the need in other lives; to love them as they are !
The Great need in
our life is to fill the need in other lives; to fill their loneliness!
The Great need in our
life is to fill the need in other lives; to complete their purpose!
The Great need in
our life is to fill the need in other lives; to be one with Jesus!
