Love is…

Have we forgotten or do we just choose to ignore the meaning of love?
We need to be reminded daily of the commandment of Jesus…
To love one another and more importantly the conditions, attributes, virtues and methods of expression of this selfless, sacrificial love of God in us and through us to others…
This meditation should be done line by line.
This is life in the Kingdom… without which we delude ourselves into believing we can live forever with Him who… this is the essence thereof…
This is God… in His intimate character… if we were to change the word love… to God, we would see Him more clearly…
If we live in it… we would know Him and have relationship with Him

Love is…

Love is Slow to lose patience.

Love is kind.

It looks for a way of being constructive.

It is not jealous nor does it envy or is it possessive.

It is not conceited.

It’s never anxious to impress or show off.

It’s not proud or boastful.

It does not cherish infatuated ideas of its own importance.

It’s not irritable, or touchy, or easily angered.

It does not keep a record of wrongs.

Love is not happy with evil, and does not gloat over the wickedness of others.

Love rejoices in the truth and shares the joys of those who live in the truth.

Love knows no limit to its endurance.

Love bears all.

No end to its trust love believes all things.

Always hopeful, it never gives up.

It out lasts anything.

Love never fails!
