How
we approach God…
speaks of our faith or lack thereof.
Our attitude is expressed in our words and
actions and reveals our hearts desire.
There is a line that we need to see to have an
understanding of why so many are failing to accept or learn of the
love of Jesus. Many seek the truth or learn of God and about God, the
question is do you know God and can you know God and have a personal
relationship without knowing His love. God is love!
It is simply in how we approach God.
The old covenant was replaced by a new contract for it caused a
departure in our attitude of how we approach God. They waited in great
expectation for the Messiah, for relationship, for redemption, for
salvation… God so loves us He gave us Jesus!
The question now is…
Do we believe because of what God will do for us? Our wants strung out
before us…
Or do we believe because of what God has done for us in Jesus that our
every need is met in Him… love has found us and filled us… we are
bought and we are glad!
So, what looms in the minds of the fearful who
like those in the old covenant of the law is very different from those
who are faithful in the love of Jesus?
Christ is not self-seeking nor is the Holy Spirit. How is it we on one
hand want Jesus but on the other value what He can give us or do for
us more then to serve Him in love?
Do we want more then what He wants?
Is this why do we not receive His love? We talk of Him taking away our
sin, of removing death and the gates of hell, of the resurrection and
the Kingdom, all benefits to us but why don’t we see the greatest
revelation: The reason for it all, His love for us!
When Jesus Gave His life for us; did we lose something (Him) or gain
something?
There is no demand or asking for more… Jesus is
enough! Or is He? There is no other! God had but one son. Do you
still want more?
It is not what He can do for us… the age-old question of our never
being satisfied; it is in what He did that brings us to our knees in
eternal humble thanksgiving. Or have we rushed past His blood, His
death and resurrection in hope to gain our selfish wants. Have we come
to Jesus for selfish gain?
Is it in being satisfied or in being thankful?
Do we expect the world around us to change or is it us who must
change? And continue to change… ever in His image… in His love…
Are you looking for blessings or are you counting blessings? Counting
it all for joy!
Jesus desires us to be found wanting and asking for the needs of
others, just as we have been found.
Are you still seeking a sign?
Do you have all you need?
Still seeking blessings?
Or are you filled and overflowing?
Trying ever to be a blessing!
How shall you be found waiting and wanting your inheritance or giving
and sharing your inheritance?
Evangelism is a message, you have it or not…
The message is Jesus… alive in us!
Got love?
Got it? Give it…
This is how the faithful live it!
