Enduring?

Wherefore does the way of the wicked prosper? The question is observed today as then… those that do evil appear to be prospering and doing well. Yet God questions those in Christ; what have I created you for; to love neither the world nor the things of the world but to be with me now and forever… endure.
Focus on me and look to the end, when I come for you, will you still be faithful?

If you run with the foot solders and they weary you,
How will you contend with the horses?
Jeremiah 12:5

Are you weary?
Are you looking around and noticing that the wicked are doing well?
Are you concerned that too many in the Church are following the world?

The example of faithfulness is getting blurred by the encroaching world only because we have our eyes on it and reexamine its benefits, maybe even lust a little.
It is in seeing others benefit from the world and them taunting us both by word and flaunting. Are we finding ourselves in a gray area of what to do and how far do we go in the world? It is generally because far too many Christians are becoming more and more carnal, yielding to there selfish desires and inviting us by their example.

Yes it is difficult to follow and yes we grow weary but brace yourselves… it will get worse.
If you are tired and stumbling now how will you endure?

First we need to pray more then we ever have.
Prayer must begin when we open our grateful eyes to the opportunity’s that God has created us for in this day. Being thankful for what we have and not being envious or covetous of those in the world. We must see prayer as that place to be in, as foundational for all we do, ever seeking to hear His voice, to know His will and do it lovingly.

The most important step today is relationship… to Jesus and to each other… two or more… those who do not build with me, build against me. Prayer helps us in relationship to God and to others…

We need to build and be built-in the love of Jesus with others.

We shall not endure alone…

Jesus did not come for us to be alone with Him… He called 12, although the number is significant; it is in relationship to them together that He came as a man. As a person He came to gather men to Him developing relationship not just to Him but because of Him, to each other. To demonstrate the fullness of family based on a loving “Father” that we are the children of God. Jesus being a son, as are we, in Him… in His love.

The 12 are the foundation to be built upon. They are the result of the loving expression of God through Jesus to man.

How shall we endure?

Jesus asks “will I find faith…” will we be seeking to hear His voice and obey right to the end. Will we tire, will we wax cold, void of love, will we succumb to the wooing of the world, will we quit and just give up or will we remain faithful; having stumbled and fallen but getting up again and being helped up and helping others up, to stand together on the last day?

So if your tired and weary today… consider what’s to come and brace yourself with others in prayer and in serving; together in relationship, if all hell breaks loose and it will, united in His love we shall face it all and overcome it all.
To endure is not just an idea or a spiritual expression it is to be a way of life… awaiting His return.
Are you still trying to do something?
Receive the love of Jesus and keep on receiving and in the love of Jesus together with others… Two or more… pray together… and share it!

Have loving relationship… build relationship by sharing relationship… starting with Jesus...
