The day!

“No one knows the day or the hour”

The day the Lord appears is coming but for too many that is quickly overlooked or plainly ignored because they appear before Him, before He appears on earth.
We may reach death, before His arrival.
The key is, do we reach Him?
Our desire to be with the Lord is not at our time of death but should be now!
But where is our hope? Where is our love? Where is our time spent?
Are we expecting Him to come anymore than we expect to see Him?
Is it we await His coming, just as we await meeting Him…?
Is it just a maybe? Is it a choice or consequence in either case?
Just how much do you desire to see Jesus?
How are you choosing to live?
You don’t know the day or the hour…
So what do you think you know?
You had no choice in being born. You will have no choice in your departure even though you may think you do.

How do we prepare? Can we prepare? Do we want to prepare?
We who proclaim Jesus seem to misunderstand the present Kingdom from the Kingdom being present.
The Kingdom has come because the King has come.
The King is still here by His Spirit in us.
Ergo the Kingdom is here alive in us.
Entering the Kingdom or living in the Kingdom is the value established by God’s love for us in Jesus.
Are we in the Kingdom?
If we are dead to self we are no longer, but it is Christ in us.
This is not only the Kingdom but it’s the King… alive!
And the greater worth is, a place of our desire or the place of the provider.
Do we want to be someplace or do we want to be with someone?
“Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” Clearly it has to do with His will and what He wants. But why?
God gave us the King and the Kingdom… It is the King Himself who proclaims His Kingdom. We did not ask for it because we could not, we do not deserve it, we cannot earn it, yet love speaks loudly in forgiveness… can you hear? You who have ears…
And so the focus of the Kingdom preached by Jesus is found in the resurrection. What is the resurrection, what is the Kingdom; a place, a social order?
It is the eternal loving relationship of Jesus to us. There is no other, there is nothing else, but death, eternal death… that is the alternative.
The King not the Kingdom is all the love there is forever!
The expectancy then is in eternal life. The present is summed up in His presence, which is now and forever.
This is interrupted by our selfishness, which puts more emphasis on now and rarely considers forever as one and the same.
The cares of the world are the selfish cares for its values over and above that of Jesus.
When you receive Jesus you receive His Spirit, which is love and it is given as it is shared, we share in Him and His love.
“God loves us as much as He loves Jesus” as much as He loves Himself!
Given we are to give, sharing, we are to share…
Have you received?
Are you sharing all that is given?
Is Jesus enough?
“Him in us and us in Him”
Consider eternity now…
You may go to Him… before He comes for us…

Maranatha!
