Did you ever daydream? Or wonder so much about something that you thought about it like it was real. Like your first car or a trip what it would be like to be there or your boy friend or girl friend. Thoughts-feelings superimposed a sense of fullness in time. Did you ever feel the sun, smell the flowers and grass, hearing the rustle of trees and looking at a beautiful landscape with the shadows of magnificent clouds strewn across the countryside? Your senses full and your mind and feelings capture the moment and relish it as if it were forever. This is the beginning of meditation. It is not to be super Spiritual, as to remove us from reality. Meditation is to bring us to the heart of reality. Jesus is our center, He is all of our reality. Jesus was a real man and God. The gathering point for us is Jesus in His humanity as a man. This is how God chooses to approach us in reality to gather us to Him. That we may know Him but more importantly to know His love. God is love. Now that very Jesus the man is within us by His Spirit. All that He is, alive in us. That is something to meditate on. We are created for a purpose Him in us And this truth is setting us free. The goal is to meditate to enjoin our selves to what is freely given. Mediations are neither to remove you from reality nor to enjoin you in some mystical religious escapism. To meditate on Jesus is the center of our created purpose. That we may live to the fullest and our joy might be full. Meditations are God given to dwell on Him to dwell with Him to be servants as Him. So we are trying to introduce you to meditation as doors to the heart of Jesus in your heart. For you who have been touched by His love and for you that know His love there is more to become overwhelmed dead to self and alive to all the love there is forever.
All that I am I give to you I am in you! Meditate on: Put on the mind of Christ Put on my mind think as I live as I... do as I... love as I...
