Do you want the mark of Cain?

And the LORD said unto him,
Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain,
lest any finding him should kill him.
Gen 4:15

When we think of Cain, our first impressions are of a sinner, an enemy of God, an angry, hostel, jealous young man. In fact a cold blooded killer. But note the mercy of God not to kill him. And in fear for his life as he pleads, God puts a mark on him so everyone will recognize him and not kill him. He suffers in living, being marked insures his life of being removed from God but he is recognized and known.

That has an appeal to be marked so no one will kill you… doesn’t it?

Looking at the sinful side of Cain we don’t relate nor do we want to, we don’t want to kill our brother, even though some of us will unwittingly.
We reject the idea of being like Cain.
Some of us do kill but we do it deceived as we deny the existence of others, as we become indifferent to others and it begins by ignoring them.
It’s so easy to do.
As if we were given a licensee to write off whom ever we want to protect our interest in God. We keep trying to find people that agree with us; weather they love us or not and completely avoiding the command of Jesus to love them! Subtly we kill off others by justifying out position that we don’t need them or worse that they are our enemy with disregard to love one another even our neighbors and especially our enemies. Yet, we continue believing were Christians.

We are not like Cain… or are we?

Do we really kill?

We here, have received communication from all over regarding community and the minute someone disagrees they stop communicating… people want to hear what they choose too, lovelessly!  No one sees our motive nor do they care to, they write to tell us theirs…  They justify it’s just a harmless summation of their thoughts, right?
We don’t know them.
And we usually never get to know them...
They may not be Brethren.
Well everyone that contacts us we believe has been motivated by God to do so. When they conclude that communication abruptly is it the Spirit or the flesh? Are they obeying the command to love us or do they even attempt to forgive us?
Forgive or you shall not be forgiven is not even taken into consideration… Brothers? Servants of whom? Servants of God ... or of the flesh?
Do they cut themselves off from us alone or from others or God as well?
So many see relationship to God in Jesus without seeing the need to love everyone!
Everyone!

The Church for the most part remains loveless!

There are servants yes, of every sort… from filling their egos, building names for themselves to serving for filthy lucre or to just living in a dream world of deception. How many ministries herald the name of someone other then Jesus! It says it all! Identify “Me first” Ego above Jesus… self-identification first… self-love ahead of the love of God and of course money, greed in the name of Jesus. God has given many visions, insights and revelations… and alas filtered through the flesh men have cashed in on them for there own sake.

 Please read 1 John 4:20-21 & 1 John 3:1-16… now read it again…

But all say, we don’t hate our brother!
We just refuse to deal with him.
Well is this a form of love or is it hate?

What can you do with out Jesus?

Can you love God and not pray or read scripture?
Do we need to communicate with Jesus?
There is no middle ground we are in Jesus and actively love our enemies praying for them and doing good to them… yet leaving us separated from our brothers?

You cannot love God and not love your brothers!

You cannot love your brothers and do nothing.
Love is action, it is not passive it acts, it confronts, it communicates it builds bridges… it forgives even when there is nothing to forgive… it is humble.
Read 1 Corinthians 13 again.
God loves every man and if we are in Jesus, we should as well!
This is the foundation of following; the glue… so to speak that holds it all together and makes it work. Today we have replaced love with doing it right… and without love that means doing it my way! For without love whom can I trust or who do I dare trust. The heartless have an answer. Men trust the Bible!… for it’s inability to offer affection.
Reading and knowing is a mental accent of self righteousness... without love. It fills the mind but not the heart or the spirit.

The new covenant focuses on Jesus saying “Love God! With all your heart and mind and strength and your neighbor…
Jesus is saying to love me you must love all men!
Most Christians don’t even love the brethren! Nor do they even attempt to, yet it is the same Jesus in all of us… how can that be?
Well some are carnal more in love with themselves then Jesus.

Fear not, soon the angels of God will remove those who refuse to love… wait for it, watch, for it will happen in a major way right after the falling away… which is the carnal totality choosing the lust of the world and finding themselves anti-Christ!
As Cain… the motive (1 John 3:12)…  why do men refuse to love because their hearts are still carnal! They still love themselves more then God!

What mark shall we receive?
The mark of Cain kept him alive while it declared his sin.
What of us today?

Just think of our fate in life… we might consider the mark without the sin. Knowing no one would kill us may have some appeal to our fear of dying. Can we have the mark without separation? Will God mark us or will we accept a mark that frees us from death to our flesh and justify ourselves, as if it’s OK. So the carnal are fearful, they want to escape martyrdom why not accept the mark of Cain.
Why not ask God for that mark?
We would be free from martyrdom.

Well there is a mark… and you’ll see it soon and you’ll have a choice…

Who will take the mark of the beast? The carnal Christians that slowly separate themselves from God betting on the here and now; living for today and the selfish quest of comfort, much like the Sadducees; not believing in the resurrection.

Are you running to or away from God?

If you keep running from the truth you choose not to hear… what shall you hear dulled to the Spirit of God?

Another voice that speaks comfort… another voice is appealing to you right now… do you hunger?
I have something for you, this is beautiful… it’s delicious… it’s just what you need… here eat this apple! Enjoy!!!

Do you hunger for the things of this world or for Jesus…
Temptation is all about us…

We speak in love to keep you from that day…
