Once…

It only takes once… to die. So we seem to think that what ever we do, if it doesn’t kill us, we’ll have another chance. Don’t be to sure…

Do you think… if someone warned you that your life would be forfeit tomorrow would you believe them? Do we think that warning always comes in a specific method or have we not learned that Jesus calls us to act in behalf of Him and that alone; not obeying finds us removed from Him?
Would it change what you are doing today?
Have you heard the voice of Jesus warning us?
You who have ears can you really hear?
And if you can why have you not acted in accordance with what you hear?

Love one another…
How many second chances do you think you have?

The other day while talking to someone about God; he interjected this revelation of immediacy as he relayed this true episode.

It seemed that he was discussing sin and its effect on separating us from God with some well versed woman. She was of a Roman Catholic background and was explaining how although sin separates us from the love of God forgiveness is always available. She was bragging about her sin in terms of when she was ready; all she had to do was confess and she would be redeemed. But for now she would live in sin and enjoy the moment… God would understand and be there for her, as He understood waiting. There was no rush for her to ask forgiveness and she felt no need to repent quite yet while life was so full, even if it did separate her from God. This was not dangerous ground for her it was a road well worn. As fate would have it she fell to the ground dead of an aneurysm while at work several days later.

While no one can judge this situation… where does it leave “you” right now, in terms of forgiveness and redemption…

Do you want to put off your separation from God until a later date?
Do you even know if you’re in sin and separated?
How long will you wait to find out and change?
Are you of the persuasion that is it doesn’t kill you it’s OK?

Tomorrow great change is coming into the world… something we can not move away from, hide from or deny… have you heard the warnings!
Have you heard the call to act… to build loving relationships… for without each other and a loving trust in each other we shall not pass tomorrow and continue down the road of separation from Jesus and the Christ in each other and endure to the end…

The time to change is today… now!
Can you hear?

Tomorrow will you hear the voice of God or thunder?
