Sorrow will follow sorrow?

To observe the world and to see reality as it is presented to us; is to begin to be overwhelmed by the evil it is being compromised with.
“Evil begets evil”

The subtlety by which evil works in this darkness is that we can grasp at anything that appears to be better then what it was or seems to be, even though that to is evil. We’ll choose the dark gray over the black without consideration for the light. Some of us even choose blackness over gray. And most of our choices will keep us in darkness imposing itself on us for our want of change.

“Redeeming the time for the days are evil”

“We are children of the light” We must choose to walk in the light.

Yet still we choose to deceive ourselves… excusing ourselves every step of the way, even to the point of justifying our personhood and our actions when questioned or confronted. We too often choose to blend in… to the darkness…
Are we like Adam hiding from God… because of our sin.
Are we trying to be like everyone else, forsaking being like Jesus?

How shall we be… How can we be… forgiven for our sin when we ignore it, deny it, pass-by it, it’s not that bad, God won’t mind or just say to ourselves that it is not sin?
Why do we do it?
Why do we cause our own sorrow? Are we not offered enough sorrow in the cross?
Are you numb, dull to the Spirit of the constantly abounding and mounting sorrows of the world?

Why?

We have come to seek the light in external means and that is the trap of the flesh. We in the comfort of our flesh have come to look for the light outside of ourselves.
We are not here, nor is God’s purpose for us to have the light shine on us, as if we were on stage to perform (As too many do today) or blind servants (not acting in love for want of it). We want to be in the lime light… our flesh demands it.
Our flesh wants to overcome the work of God.
Our flesh and its desires are the enemy of God and His work of Christ in us.
The light is in us and we need to shine it into the lives of those in darkness, revealing the sin that entraps them.
Jesus said we are the light… yet some of us ask; shine your light on me and I’ll shine on you. When will we follow Jesus in self sacrifice, into death to self, into giving up on the material world for the Kingdom?
When will we see that as light we are to choose to be like Jesus? His purpose in us is for us to make decisions in His will and at the center of each choice to love as He. In fact we may say to choose to be sacrificial; to be selfless is that choice that we need to make in every decision.
We who don’t love others selflessly are to busy ever seeking to be loved in our fleshly perverse ways.
The Command to love falls on deaf ears… for the want of it…
Can you still hear!

Jesus did not come to be served but to serve!

You who have ears; now; right now! must come to grips with whether you know the love of God is in you, by His Spirit. It is not a feeling nor is it an idea, it is not something which comes and goes, wavering. Jesus said He would NEVER leave us nor forsake us… He loves us and therefore commands us to share ourselves as He has shared Himself with us. He is the vine… we are the branches… where is your fruit?
Have we come to find ourselves desiring to be fruit or maybe even the vine?
Is Jesus enough… or is our flesh telling us and compelling us to want more, without being thankful for what we have in Jesus?

Just how thankful are you?

Those who preach and those who teach and those who move in the gifts of the Spirit; are you ready to pay the price… that Jesus paid? Are you ready to be hated? Yes, not popular but hated, spat at, tortured… beaten and killed… if not, then you’re in the flesh.
The price of acting in His stead in any form is to be willing to receive the same as He received.
But not us today…
We want fame and fortune without the cost that Jesus paid!
For the flesh tells us we are better than He is…

We want more, but while our lips may say we want more Jesus, our actions prove otherwise; our lives are imploding, what we do involves not sharing so we can hoard what we have and try to gather it to us in a quest that will blind us to the light in us and have us groping in the darkness of this ever darkening world.
So we live in darkness and our truth withers and our love waxes cold.
Sorrows befall us on all sides but we must not look at events nor guess at there cause…God is still in control… Jesus is still in our heart…
What shall you do?
First realize that there sorrows that have come because of the darkness around us and there are sorrows we have invited into our lives as choices of our selfish flesh.
Choose to serve sacrificially and selflessly and begin now!

Are we announcing His return?
Are we building relationships in love?
Can we see the error of our ways?
Can you see you must come out of the flesh before it destroys you and those around you?
Can you lift your heavy heart and confess your sin?
Will we repent?
Are you in the race? Which way are you running?
The hour is late… there are yet even more sorrows to face before this day is over…
Darkness keeps encroaching as evil tightens its grip… the light is in you… share the light!
Can you hear?
Will you surrender yourself and pick up your cross today?
